Pen Vs. Sword

     As all of you who are reading this know, I am a blogger. I want change in the world. Majority of the people on earth want change. There are two different ways that can show YOU want change. Blogging (pen) and actually acting on it (sword). Most of us know how acting on it works, but what about blogging?

     I haven't posted anything particularly about change in the world, but I want change. I just don't know exactly or specifically what. I believe we could start by writing a post then publishing it. People will read the post and spread it to others. Those "others" will then spread it and before you know it, probably half of the world read it already. That's how you can show you want change. 

     Some people might say "I don't know what to write about" or "I'm too shy". I myself don't know what to write about either. The time will come where your perfect idea will fall on your lap. 

     What about acting on it? Do you know JacksGap? The YouTube channel run by the Harries twins? If not, let me tell you about them. They not only post YouTube videos about random things, but they travel the world visiting charities and raising money for projects. They recently raised over $100,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust. A few months ago, they visited South Africa to support Comic Relief. Comic Relief is a charity based in United Kingdom which raise money for projects abroad and in the UK. Five months ago, they went to Sri Lanka to visit a centre for children who don't have the necessities we usually take for granted or don't get to have the chance to go to school. It is called Rainbow Centre.

   After watching their videos where they were traveling the world helping others, I immediately knew that this is my ultimate goal in life. THIS IS THE CHANGE I WANT. I want to travel the world helping others and raising money for charities. Whenever I see some unfortunate people, I just immediately want to give them money or food. Sometimes, I really get teary-eyed just seeing them. 

   Even though I'm just 12, I want to act now. I can blog and tell other people about it. I can also act upon it.

   To all the people, especially kids like me, who know what change they want in the world, I tell you this: No matter what your age is, you can act on it by blogging and literally acting upon it. No matter what people tell you, YOU CAN DO IT. You can use the pen AND the sword at the same time.
